History of College

Govt College for Girls, Malerkotla is the prestigious institute founded in 2019 to fulfill the cherished desire of the people of the area. Presently college is working at Punjab Urdu Academy, Campus as the new building of the college is near completion. The college has two smart class rooms & ample new furniture. The college is running successfully the courses of B.Com and B.A. Two batches of the college have been passed out with more than ten students with distinction.

The vision of the college is as follows:- * To lay emphasis on intellectual awakening, fostering creativity & to develop skills for their all round development * To sharpen the minds of the students and imbibe innovation, insight, self security into them. * To inculcate a positive attitude towards technology for effective governance and meet the challenges of the contemporary competitive world.
